Below are the 2022 garbage and recycling pickup schedules for the city of Charlotte. See
here for help finding your collection day and recycling color code based on your address.

How to find your collection schedule:
- Go to the Mecklenburg County GeoPortal
- Enter your home address and select the correct match from the matched results
- Click on the Trash & Recycling option which will scroll you down to that section.
- Shown is your trash and recycling collection day plus your recycling pickup color (orange or green).
To Know
- Trash is collected on weekdays M-F
- Recycling is collected every other week depending on your color code (Green or Orange)
- Observed holidays, all collection services operate on a one-day delay with Friday customers serviced on Saturday
